After much thought and consideration, a friend and I decided we wanted to make a Dessert Pizza. After searching through Pinterest, we found THE ONE! We chose a White Chocolate and Raspberry Dessert Pizza as we thought a Milk chocolate pizza may be too sickly. We followed Sugar Spun Run’s basic recipe but made a few of our own adjustments:
Pizza Base:
1 sheet of Ready to Roll Puff Pastry
120g White Chocolate
Cream Cheese Sauce:
280g Soft Cheese
65/70g Caster Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Raspberry Jam:
200g Raspberries mashed
2 Tbsp Caster Sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp Water
Streusel:
70g Caster Sugar
40g Plain Flour
2 Tbsp Butter
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 260 degrees C.
2. Unroll the Ready to Roll Puff Pastry sheet onto a baking tray.
3. Add all the ingredients of the Raspberry Jam into a saucepan and heat over a high heat.
4. Stir for 5 minutes or until thickened and put to one side.
5. Break up the 400g of White Chocolate into chunks and scatter on the pizza base.
6. In a microwavable bowl, heat up the Cream Cheese until softened.
7. Stir in the Vanilla Extract and Caster Sugar.
8. Pour the Cream Cheese mixture over the pizza base.
9. Spread the Raspberry Jam evenly over the pizza base and swirl it throughout.
10. In a bowl, combine the ingredients from the Streusel and rub together.
11. Sprinkle over the pizza.
12. Put in the oven for around 15/20 minutes – Keep an eye on it though!
